Abstract
Methods and procedures for artificially spawning the female grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) X male bighead carp (Aristichthys nobilis) are presented. Broodstock selection and treatment, hormone injections, ovulation, fertilization, hatching techniques and stocking rates are discussed.
