My friends and I stood outside the duomo during the early hours of Easter Sunday after hearing about the Florence tradition of the Explosion of the Cart . Towns people dressed in medieval wear, cows pulling carts of flowers, horses, and more. We got a front row view at a celebration that couldn't have been missed.
