Uniform Commercial Code, Article 6, bulk sales, creditor, debtor, sale of goods
Abstract
This article outlines how Article Six of the Uniform Commercial Code interplays with other provisions, namely Article Two and Article Nine. Article Two generally deals with the parties to a sale of goods-buyers and sellers. Article Nine, on the other hand, deals with creditors and debtors. Article Six is a hybrid—it deals, generally, with buyers and creditors and the protection given in Article Six is essentially creditor protection.
