Abstract

This article analyses the division of retirement accounts and other legally ambiguous property upon divorce. The article summarizes relevant case law and projects how it may be applied in the future. Specifically, the article focuses on the Day v. Day case, in which the Arkansas Supreme Court decided how to divide a professor’s pension upon divorce.
