Abstract
This article is an overview of the "Investor Protection Take-Over Act," an amendment to the Arkansas Securities Act. This law was intended to require substantial disclosure in tender offers for companies with a significant connection with the State and to give the Arkansas Commissioner of Securities certain powers to delay or impede any such tender offers if he determines that certain conditions are not met.
