Abstract
Heather Drouse is a junior at the University of Arkansas majoring in Creative Writing. When she is not writing, she spends her time embroidering, hiking, and playing games. Much of her work is derived from her experiences and beliefs as a child growing up in between city and country life in Michigan. After finishing her undergraduate years, Heather hopes to pursue an MFA and use it later down the line to enter the world of publishing.
