Abstract

Volksprodukte, with its utilization of consumption as a societal bond, was a crucial aspect for creating class harmony in Hitler's National Socialism. This paper discusses the influence of Henry Ford's manufacturing processes in supporting societal cohesion and their application to Volkswagen manufacture and the greater societal implications.
