The goal in creating a user interface was to provide a means for initializing CMS+ and executing it without having to edit lines of code, as well as for presenting the ranking output in an aesthetically pleasing and familiar layout. As far as basic functionality was concerned, the user interface would allow a user to upload a file containing the various statistics of every team for that season, view that uploaded file, set the values of the different parameters to be used in the actual algorithm, execute the algorithm in order to generate a unique ranking, and finally to view the ranking.
