Dean, College of Engineering: Kim LaScola Needy

The College of Engineering at the University of Arkansas has a rich history dating back to the signing of the Land Grant Act in 1862. Initially offering general engineering education, the University gradually developed specific engineering departments. The college awarded its first master's degree in engineering in 1928 and its first doctorate in engineering in 1964.

The College of Engineering offers degrees in biological, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, data science, electrical, industrial and mechanical engineering and computer science, as well as data science, distance learning and interdisciplinary programs.
