Abstract

Research has shown that learning is enhanced when students prepare and present lessons to their classmates. Having students create video presentations affords the opportunity to exhibit an understanding of the materials without the anxiety that may be associated with presenting live in front of a classroom. Through a 2019 Student Success Grant, 2 Apple iPad pro tablets with Apple pencils were purchased for the purpose of allowing students to write out mathematical symbols and notation directly on the screen when creating video problem solutions and explanations to share with the class.
