CFI Director: Kevin Fitzpatrick
The Community and Family Institute (CFI) was created in 1997 to facilitate research on community and family issues/problems. With a specific focus on but not limited to Northwest Arkansas, CFI also engages in research relevant to all of Arkansas, national, and global issues.
The Community and Family Institute is a joint effort of the University of Arkansas and the Harvey and Bernice Jones Center for Families in Springdale, Arkansas. The institute is a multidisciplinary research center in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences that conducts basic and applied research, as well as policy-related studies on the critical issues facing families and communities in the region and the nation.
