Department Chair: Ken L. Korth

Entomology has been integral to the university since its founding in 1872, with notable contributions from pioneers like C. W. Woodworth and W. R. Horsfall, while Plant Pathology formally began in 1909 under the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station, marking its origins within the university's agricultural research framework.

In 2019, the University of Arkansas merged the Departments of Entomology and Plant Pathology into the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology within the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences.

For work accomplished before 2019 please also see the Department of Entomology and Department of Plant Pathology.
