Abstract
This thesis is a collection of eight stories. Some of the stories explore themes of Social pressures, sexuality, ambition, and love and marriage. Many characters in these stories are struggling through their 20's, caught in living situations, relationships, and careers causing them restlessness and unhappiness. They are forced to make difficult choices in order to change the set course of their lives.
