Abstract
In this thesis, I will explain my journey bringing a well-known literary character, Marmee March from Little Women: The Broadway Musical, to life on stage. This thesis will also discuss the development of my original one-person show Pearl, its drafts and iterations, and the intended future expansion of the piece. Finally, I will include my statement of artistry, production programs, posters, and photographs; website link, headshot, and resume.
