Taking field notes at the Perahera rehearsal in Kandy, Sri Lanka. This was captured by my friend while waiting for the rehearsals to commence. The Perahera is one of the largest cultural festivals in Sri Lanka. It is a parade that exhibits dance, drumming and folk culture in the Kandyan province.
