Abstract
Beacon of Hope is the first documentary to tell the history of the University of Arkansas. The 50-minute film debunks a few myths, details the origins of several campus traditions and legends including Senior Walk, and presents a host of stories that include the birth of the university, integration, and the building of Old Main. Includes interviews with former students from 1920s-2000s.
