The Division supports research, scholarship, and creative activities, aiding individual and collaborative research to enrich the state and address global challenges. The Division aims to maintain its high research activity status per the Carnegie Foundation and align the university's productivity and reputation to compete with and possibly join the Association of American Universities (AAU).
