Abstract
A rice cultivar designated Taggart is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds and the plants of rice of this cultivar, to methods for producing a rice plant produced by crossing the cultivar with itself or another rice variety, and to methods for controlling weeds in the vicinity of plants of this cultivar. These cultivars comprises increased resistance to acetohydroxyacid synthase-inhibiting herbicides. The invention further relates to hybrid rice seeds and plants produced by crossing the cultivar Taggart with another rice cultivar.
