The School of Social Work at the University of Arkansas has one of the oldest undergraduate social work programs in the United States. Offering bachelors degrees since 1940, the program is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. The graduate program aims to apply research findings to improve the quality of life of poor and other vulnerable groups in Arkansas, nationally, and globally.
