Description
Acquired by Animal Science Dept. in 1957, this is the first computer at University of Arkansas and in the state. Operated and donated by Connel Brown, Animal Science Dept. Computer includes terminal, keyboard, printer, and manuals. Control Data G-15 computer, U of A No. 31218. Large, blue-green cabinet with minimal control board, magnetic tape input, and several large in-and-output terminals. Cabinet opens to reveal numerous vacuum tubes and circuit boards. Keyboard/hard copy output device. Several thick cables and input-output plugs.
