Made by George Gibson.
Woven, split oak basket; square base with single carrying handle at top. Base 2/2 twill weave, sides 1/1 plain weave.
Rim finished with horizontal splint reinforcements held in place with overcast splint stitching. handle notched at ends to accommodate lashings; small, thickened 'hand hold' in center.
