Abstract
In this lecture, we hear from one of the University of Arkansas' strongest departments, our nationally ranked department of supply chain management. In all, eight experts, led by Walton College of Business Dean Matt Waller, demystified the term “supply chain,” taking us through the basics of sourcing, manufacturing and distribution in healthcare and agriculture. Dean Waller and his team will tell you why toilet paper was in short supply, how Walton faculty helped move personal protective equipment from China to U.S. hotspots, how blockchain technologies and the Agile Project Management model can mitigate future crises, and more.
