Abstract
In a framework that focuses on high impact teaching practices, the ability of students to succeed in college can increase. As Generation Z embarks on college education, expectations are high for experiences rich in active learning. Diversity and Global Learning is a topic that many are scrambling to learn about in hopes of infusing it in classes. In a session on zoom for all faculty and staff, Dr. Rogelio Garcia Contreras and Dr. Jackie Wiersma-Mosley will share their experiences in social impact practices and the classroom with advice on how faculty can better incorporate this important and timely topic in their educational endeavors.
