Abstract
Child vehicular heatstroke deaths continue to be a preventable accident seen yearly. As such, a proposed safety system has been designed to monitor environmental temperatures and weight in an infant seat, to alert guardians that a young child is at risk of child vehicular heatstroke death or serious heatstroke related injury. The SmartSeat system is comprised of three separate printed circuit boards that work in unison to form the overall system.
