Abstract
During this presentation, Dr. Samantha Robinson (Teaching Assistant Professor of Mathematical Sciences) discusses the realities of remote instruction and provides practical tips to increase student engagement in the physical and/or virtual classroom. Primarily focused on larger classrooms, where typical engagement strategies feel more onerous, this presentation offers advice on how instructors (even in the remote classroom environment) can increase emotional and cognitive student engagement without feeling overburdened.
